This conference is dedicated to the memory of Professor Christian Mauduit, whose remarkable contributions have profoundly shaped number theory, particularly in the fields of combinatorics, sequence complexity, numeral systems, and number distribution.

Throughout his career, Prof. Mauduit built strong scientific ties with numerous institutions worldwide, and especially with the University of Sfax, where he collaborated extensively and supervised several doctoral students. Many of his colleagues and former PhD students from Sfax wish to honor his memory and express their deep gratitude for his guidance, generosity, and inspiring mentorship.

This event will gather internationally renowned researchers and young mathematicians to explore a wide range of topics related to number theory and its many applications. It will be a moment to celebrate both the intellectual impact and the human qualities of Prof. Mauduit, through plenary lectures, invited talks, and contributions from young researchers.
